first time advice
PRE-CLASS PREPARATION
- Try not to eat at least two hours before class. Hydrate yourself well before your session.
- You will need: a yoga mat, a towel large enough to cover your yoga mat, and a bottle of water to take small sips from as needed. We do not allow glass bottles in the studio due to safety issues in the event of an accident.
- Yoga mats and towels may be rented and bottled water may be purchased at the studio. We also carry high-end yoga mats for purchase.
uPON ARRIVAL
- The studio opens 30 minutes before classes begins and remains open 30 minutes after class.
- For your first visit, arrive 15 - 20 minutes early to register and get ready for class. Wear comfortable, breathable clothing.
- There is no late admission - the door to the studio locks when the class begins.
- Be sure to let us know of any prior or current injuries.
DURING & AFTER CLASS
- Come ready to learn and let go. Things may be hard at first, but if you relax and let go you will feel much better. Everyone was a beginner at some point. Our experienced and qualified instructors will give you step by step instructions. Remember to relax.
- Pro tip: You are guided into poses verbally, so choose a space in the middle or back of the room so you can watch others around you.
- After class you may take a shower. Our facility has private showers that allow you to rinse off.
